Designed with enduring elegance, Newstead Series’ boutique townhomes seamlessly fuse spaciousness, privacy and boutique living on the edge of the city.
26 Street Design’s Boyana Popvassilev, who designed and styled the interiors, was inspired by her extensive experience designing townhomes in New York.
“I was ecstatic when I found out we would be designing the townhomes because we have so much experience with the typical New York City Brownstones,” she said.
“In the Brownstones the ‘parlour room’ is always on the garden level, it is where guests are entertained and it is usually the most elaborately designed area of the home.”
“Beautiful deep staircases, hardwood floors and natural materials, are all elements in the Newstead Series which remind me of home. In a way the design is very classic.”
Listen as Boyana Popvassilev from 26 Street Design talks about her creative approach to space planning, detailing of joinery and use of new materials throughout the bespoke townhomes.
The Newstead Series comprises four boutique buildings – The Carlyle, The Donaldson, The Ajax and The Koerstz – which were named after Australia’s famous wool presses.
The Newstead Series is under construction with ASX-listed tier 1 builder Watpac on site. The project is scheduled for completion in 2017.
Newstead Series is being developed by JGL Properties with capital partner Thakral Capital. Tessa Advisory is the principal sales agent for the project.
